No. The impeachment process is the only lawful way to remove a president from office. Of course, he could voluntarily resign under the threat of impeachment as did Richard Nixon.

There is no Vice-president in that case. That office remains vacant and the duties of the Vice-president to preside over the Senate is then handled by the President pro tempore of the Senate.

That would depend on the charge. If the offense was serious, he would probably be impeached and convicted and be thrown out of office, if he did not resign first.

A common mistake is believing that if the president is impeached s/he is thrown out of office. Wrong, to be impeached is for the president to be sent to trial for a crime above a misdemeanor. It's a decision made by the House of Representatives. In order to remove the president from office the Senate must make a 2/3 vote in that favor. The correct term for removing the president from office is "Incapacitation"

No, probably not. I know that is very disappointing to Republican partisans who have been listening to anti-Obama political talk shows, or reading ultra-conservative publications. There are undoubtedly Republicans who are hoping that this year will be the year he is forced out of office. Truthfully, anti-Bush partisans felt the same way when he was president, and many Democrats eagerly awaited the day of his impeachment, but it never came. It won't come for Mr. Obama either. Impeaching a president is not supposed to be about politics, nor is it about disagreeing with his policies. It is about proving the president committed "high crimes and misdemeanors," such as treason. While you may not like President Obama, there is no evidence he has committed treason, contrary to the heated rhetoric you may have heard on talk shows. Thus, it is doubtful he will be impeached, and politicians who are claiming that he will be are just trying to stir up their supporters and get them ready to vote in the mid-term elections.

No, it must touch another player for a goal to be scored. If thrown into your own goal, it is a corner kick for the opposing team. If thrown into the opponent's goal, it is a goal kick for the opposing team.
