The North.
North was against slavery, and south wanted more slavery. south wanted more slavery so they could work on the cotton fields. if more people work on cotton fields the south would have more money.
The South had more people and money. The North had technology and organization.
This is a more complicated question than you would think. The South had a policy of inflationary currency, this means that things cost much much more in the south than the north. TO the point that currency was used as wall paper because it was cheaper. The south did not have as large an industrial base as the North and that made things much more expensive to build.Much of the war Material had to be imported by the South, again very expensive. In the end while the South probably spent more money, but the North built more war supplies by far and equipped more troops. So what it comes down to: what does your teacher want to hear? The North was able to produce and deploy significantly more material and troops and that is what made the difference in the war.
The South's labor system was generally more farming than factories. The north were much more advanced in the lines of production and had started to adopt more techniques that we use today. The south's labor system was largely based on slaves doing the work for no money, where as the north was free with wages paid.
The North.
The north had more supplies, because the south had no factories
The differences between the North and the South were that North was anti-slavery, and the South was pro-slavery. The North had more resources, men, and money to spend than the South did.Ê The South was farming and plantation crops, and the North was more refined cities while the Northern states were more politically Republican, and the Southern states more Democratic.
Because the North had all the manufacturing industry. The South only had cotton, which it couldn't export because of the Union blockade.

actually students or fellow classmates out there the north won the war since they had more money from manufacturing and other goods than the south
Stop asking this kind of questions. Money is not noteworthy
Money is the same in both the North and the South. In different countries the money value is different.
actually students or fellow classmates out there the north won the war since they had more money from manufacturing and other goods than the south
The North was industrial and the South was agricultural, and that made completely different economy's. The North was sunny which grew plants and cotton, and people bought that which made the North have allot of money. And the South was rainy, so they had allot of buildings which meant more jobs which meant more money. But the South needed the resources from the North. They also disagreed about Slavery, the South thought it was necessary and the north didn't like the idea of slavery. So they got pissed. And the south got pissed too, because the North got the right to vote weather the South should have slavery or not.
More money
