The value of a 1878 silver dollar, specifically the Morgan silver dollar, can vary significantly depending on its condition, mint mark, and market demand. Generally, it can range from around $20 to over $1,000 for coins in excellent condition or with rare mint marks. To get an accurate valuation, it's best to consult a coin dealer or use a reputable coin pricing guide.
what is the current value of an 1878 silver dollar
as much as you can get for it.
None were made.
Assuming the coin is circulated, retail value is $17.00-$26.00
$1 unless it has an "S" mintmark and then it is a 40% silver coin worth silver melt value which at the time of writing is worth about $6.50. But Ike dollars really aren't worth too much to collectors unless they have the "S" mintmark and are silver.

1 cent, 1/100 of a dollor
1 dollor
It's still worth about $36.00 just for the silver, the gold maybe 5 cents. The plating actually killed the collectible value of the coin.
It's Dollar not dollor and the coin is a Ben Franklin Half dollar not a "liberty" half dollar and value is likely $5.00 just for the silver, only high grade mint state coins have better values.
One dollar
Please post a new question. The first Morgan dollar was minted in 1878. No silver dollars at all were made in 1835.
