The Declaration of Independence pretty much just meant that we didn't want to be a part of england. Thus creating the revolutionary war.

ANSWER:

The result of the Declaration of Independence was that the people of America, who worked, slaved, and died making it a much better place, wanted to be free from Great Britain as well as King George III.

The people of the American Colonies felt that it was time to live the way that they wanted to live, and have the basic rights that they didn't have in England, or be forced to face the control of Parliament, to take away their rights, while living in another part of the world.

The people knew this would mean war with England, but, they were willing to sacrifice everything, including their lives on freedom, happiness, and independence.
