Unless it's uncirculated (or nearly so) it's only worth a few cents. Look on the front of the coin to see if there's a small mint mark letter below the date. It may be blank or there may be a D or S.

More information is needed. Several countries issued 25¢ coins in 1947. Please look for questions like "What is the value of a 1947 US quarter?", "... Canadian quarter?", etc.
