Revere and Dawes alerted the colonists of the British troops, thus allowing them to be ready with troops of their own when the British came.
yes yes it is
Britain had just finished fighting a very expensive World War, part of which was know as the French Canadian War. Britain didn't maintain a large standing Army, they relied a lot on locally recruited troops in their empire. In North America they had used troops from the colonies to aid in the fighting against the French. The British didn't want to become entangled in a military campaign against their own allies, they just believed that the colonists should share the cost of defending themselves against the French and thought it was unseasonable that they didn't want to do so. The problem was, now that there was no threat from the French, the Americans didn't really need the support of the British at all.
They ambushed the retreating British forces and fought covering themselves in the woods and behind stone walls using a tactic like a guerrilla warfare.
The Quartering Acts were one of the many causes of feelings of agitation towards the British government pre-revolution. The dislike of quartering stuck with the Constitutional writers and is Amendment III in the Bill of Rights.

The colonists used propaganda, such as the Boston Massacre and the Boston Tea Party, to portray the British as oppressive and tyrannical rulers. These events were exaggerated and publicized to generate support for the colonists' cause for independence.
The French primarily aided the colonists during the American Revolutionary war by providing supplies, and weaponry to the deprived Continental Army. French troops were also holding their front against The United Kingdom in Europe, thus weakening the British in the colonists favor.
There was no US during the French and Indian War!!!The French and their Indian allies were fighting the British. Since the 13 colonies were British colonies the French were fighting the colonies. In fact George Washington served as a major in the militia of the British colony of Virginia during the French and Indian War fighting against the French. After the British won, they imposed taxes on the colonists to pay for having defended them against the French. The British also placed troops in the colonists homes to defend against any later attacks. These were two of the actions that later led to the American Revolution.
