You can, but only if you trade with someone who has the other.

Where to get kabuto on FireRed?

After you defeat Brock in the Pewter City gym, you can head EAST to Mount Moon. There you will find two fossils: Dome and Helix. The Dome fossil will give you a Kabuto, while the Helix will give you an Omanyte. You can only choose one or the other so choose carefully! If you already got the Helix fossil, you WILL NOT get Kabuto, you will get Omanyte and the only way to get Kabuto is by trading. I know its a bit unfair but if you breed your Omanyte later in the game in 'Four Island' maybe you can give a baby Omanyte to someone as exchange for a Kabuto. I have Leaf Green and Fire Red so I chose Dome in Fire Red and Helix in Leaf Green, then bred them and got them both for my PokeDex. So your best bet is to get both Leaf Green and Fire Red then trade. Good Luck!!!

What is better helix or doom fossil on Pokemon FireRed?

Dome Fossil is Kabuto and the Helix Fossile is Omanyte, Both Water/Rock types.

Where can you get a fossil in Pokemon LeafGreen?

you can get it by exploring mt.moon. head all the wayto the left ladder and use it. then you can defeat the scientist whowants both of the fossils. he is fairly easy. hte dome fossil is a kabuto, the other is a omanyte. i would recommend kabuto because he is a good water type if you chose charmander or bulbasaur as your starter. i hope it helped! ::::::: (='-'=)bunny713

What is better pearl or diamond?

They are both equivalent, with minor changes, such as Palikia in Pearl and Dialga in Diamond. The only thing that changes is the Pokemon that appear and what time.

What fossil to choose in mt.moon?

well in leaf green and fire red the two fossils are the helix fossil for Omanyte and the dome fossil for Kabuto. both Pokemon are rock water and evolve at level 40 into either an Omastar or Kabutops. Omanyte and Omastar will learn rock and water moves like its type indicates but Kabuto and Kabutops decide to go against everything and learn rock and grass moves which is useless like mega drain. Really its your choice on which one you pick you cant use them until you get to cinnabar island anyway so big deal

Is Aerodactyl revived from the Helix or Dome fossil?

Neither, Aerodactyl is revived from Old Amber. You get Old Amber from a scientist in the Pewter Museum (cut down the tree on the right to get to the other entrance). The Helix fossil revives into an Omanyte, while the Dome fossil turns into a Kabuto. Both are Water/Rock-types.

How do you get a Helix or Dome Fossil in FireRed?

Well you can only have one so you have to choose, sorry. If you must have both you can trade with a friend to get the one you didn't pick (that is if they are willing to give it up)

Pokemon crystal what Pokemon do you have to trade to get?

Many Pokemon will evolve through trade. Four of them don't require a hold item, and the rest do. Kadabra evolves into Alakazam, Graveler evolves into Golem, Machoke evolves into Machamp, and Haunter evolves into Gengar when you trade. The rest are down here, or at least what I can think of:Need to hold Metal Coat:Onix > SteelixScyther > ScizorNeed to hold King's Rock:Slowpoke > SlowkingPoliwhirl > PolitoedNeed to hold Dragon Scale:Seadra > KingdraNeed to hold UpGrade:Porygon > Porygon2There are also Pokemon not obtainable in Crystal itself that must be traded from other versions to get. They are:Bulbasaur, Ivysaur, and Venusaur (Trade from Red, Blue, or Yellow)Charmander, Charmeleon, and Charizard (Trade from Red, Blue, or Yellow)Squirtle, Wartortle, and Blastoise (Trade from Red, Blue, or Yellow)Vulpix and Ninetales (Trade from Blue, Yellow, or Silver)Mankey and Primeape (Trade from Red, Yellow, or Gold)Omanyte and Omastar (Trade from Red, Blue, or Yellow)Kabuto and Kabutops (Trade from Red, Blue, or Yellow)Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres (Trade from Red, Blue, or Yellow)Mewtwo (Trade from Red, Blue or Yellow)Mareep, Flaafy, and Ampharos (Trade from Gold or Silver)Remoraid and Octillery (Trade from Gold or Silver)Keep in mind that in Red and Blue, you choose from only one of Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle, so you would need three of any of these games. However, in Yellow you can get all three, so it's probably the best choice. You also get a choice between Omanyte and Kabuto in all three games, so that will require you to get another. Mew and Celebi are only available via Gameshark, unfortunately, so you'll have to make do without them unless you're okay with hacking your game.In order to get all Pokemon, I would reccommend getting a Yellow version, and then either a Red or Blue version, (Or both!). You'll also need either Gold or Silver.

What game is better Pokemon SoulSilver or Pokemon HeartGold?

They are both equally good, it just depends on your preference of legendary Pokemon. If you want to catch Lugia first, then you would choose SoulSilver, but if you want to catch Ho-oh first, you would choose HeartGold (you can catch both legendary Pokemon in both games, just at different times and different levels). Some people prefer to buy the version that corresponded to the version they had when they were younger, i.e., if they had the original Silver version, they would get SoulSilver. Another deciding factor for some players is the availability of certain Pokemon in-game. There are many version-exclusive Pokemon in each game that requires you to trade from the opposite version of the game. In SoulSilver, version-specific Pokemon include Meowth, Kabuto and Groudon while HeartGold offers Growlithe, Omanyte and Kyogre in their place. Numerically, HeartGold offers more version-exclusive Pokemon than SoulSilver due to fourth generation evolutions and pre-evolutions added to two of the original Silver version Pokemon (Mantine and Gligar earned Mantyke and Gliscor, respectively).
