To register Pokémon Black/White to global link, you first need to have obtained the C-GEAR in game. Once you have the C-GEAR, select "Game Sync ID" from the main menu. This will contact global link and assign your game the sync ID you will need to register the game to your account. Once you have your Game Sync ID, login to Global Link and in your profile, register your game using the ID provided. Make sure to select the correct version. Be warned that if you had bought the game used: If the game had been registered to a PGL account by its previous owner you cannot register it again.
