The answer is yes. If, like me, you do not have a wireless adapter for Xbox 360, and use a laptop with a wifi or other internet connection like a 3G mobile broadband dongle. then you will be able to go on Xbox live. It will be a lot slower so don't expect high speed gaming; expect just being able to go on Xbox live. :)
So here is how you can set up Xbox live access via your PC or laptop:
1. plug Ethernet lead into Xbox and laptop/PC
2. plug in dongle to USB port
3. (A) if using Windows XP, click start, connect to, click show all network connections, if you have more than one Ethernet port on your PC/laptop click on the one you are using with your xbox 360. then drag and select both your dial-up 3g mobile broadband connection and your Ethernet connection and right click, goto add to network bridge wait a few minutes, open up your 3g ISP software, click on connect, then once connected turn on your xbox 360 and hopefully you should sign into xbox live.
3. (B) Windows Vista is basically the same. Just go to network and sharing center and you should be able to bridge the connections by going on manage network devices.
3. (C) Windows 7... You cant bridge dongle and LAN only LAN and wifi sorry people with win 7.
yes you can use a dongle for xbox live
Is xbox live possible with a dongle
The only way i know is to connect it to a computer. The activate ICS, Internet connection sharing. Then connect your xbox to your computer and game away.
Use the audio out dongle that goes in the Xbox 360 AV out to get red/white outputs, then use cable provided to connect them to the audio in on the chair.HopeThis Helps:)~SyedMustafaJelani
Due to the software it has to be a 3 Dongle for a Laptop
3g dongle
Yes, you can use your Xbox Live account on your new Xbox One.
No. Only the one that came with that FitBit.
Maybe - it depends on what the dongle uses for determining legal use of the program. Normally software protected with a dongle doesn't rely on binding to machine characteristics like CPU serial number because it's using the dongle for verification that the license is valid. One of the advantages of using a dongle, in fact, is the portability of the license from one machine to another. Of course, not all vendors do it this way.
Not sure exactly what you mean, if the ethernet cord connects to the wireless adapter then yes. (Or the wireless dongle plugs into the ethernet port). Can you unplug one then use the other then yes.If you mean can you use a USB wireless dongle and the ethernet connected to the same network then no.
No, you need to have the dongle that came with the .Audio 995 headset, as the pairing is done through the USB dongle that comes with the headset. It does not show a replacement dongle for this headset.
To use a Bluetooth dongle, it must first be plugged into the USB drive of a computer. After it is opened in the control panel on the computer, it is ready for use.
No you must use WiFi or ethernet to connect to the PS3 and can not use a USB dongle as the USB port can not be used to provide internet for the PS3
