halo : holy combat or halo 3
You can either play on the same xbox or you could do a system link with two xboxs.
The ethernet is required to connect to the internet. Xbox requires an internet connection to play games online and download content.
You will need to have an internet connection to use XBOX live. Then you will have to order the service. It is $50 a year.
you can play online with xbox 360 and the PC. There are also other systems, but the Playstation Network or Xbox live is on the internet and not actually online gaming which Black Ops does not have.
They both connect to the internet the same, wireless and wired. The PS3 is free online but you have to pay for the Xbox live.
You can play first strike maps offline in both the split screen and XBOX Live -> Combat training lobbies. (Though for combat training, you'd still need to be online.)
Xbox LIVE is an online gaming service for your Xbox 360. It uses you internet connection to connect to for Xbox LIVE to go online. ISP stands for Internet Service Provider.. examples: Verizon FIOS, Comcast, Time Warner.. and much more. Basically Xbox LIVE is not an ISP. Hope this helped! TheKmar10
