Does it sound right that a mechanic would charge for three hours to replace tie rod ends on a 1993 Ford Tempo and how long does it usually take?
I sat and watched my mechanic take mine off. Its one important thing about taking them off you have to keep track of how many times you unscrewed so you can screw it back that many times. Remember the tie rods are what they adjust when u get an alignment....Cost me 200 to get done and I bought my own tie rods the regular shops tried to make me pay 400-600 to install some 15-40 dollar tie rods.
