this is going to be a kinda confusing answer but any way ill try my best what you do is go to the main screen(home) and obove the top theres some things that you can click on next just hover over those till one of the sub things is password recovery click on that and it should ask you for your username and password enter those then fill out the thing and those are your recovery quetions. i think at the sign in screen where it askes you for your username and password there is also a password recovery button but im not sure. you have to have the password recovery questions to get some of the treasures in the stronghold of security (barbarian villlage).like the colorful shoes and theres also some less noticable shoes that give you the same exact bonus's.
Click on the Manage account screen which will show you to a list of things to do for your account.
im not entirely sure, but try recovery questions and if you havent set any, your screwed.
When you go to the Stronghold of Security, it is a maze, and you have to answer RuneScape security questions at each door until you reach the center. I'm pretty sure that you have to set your Recovery Questions on the Front Page of RuneScape in order to get the gift of peace. In order to do that you have to log out, go to the RuneScape hompage and click on the button that says 'Account'. Scroll down on that page and click the link that says 'Set Recovery Questions' and you will be able to set the questions. After you do that log back on and collect the Gift of Peace!
Request your recovery questions to be removed, however, this process takes 14 days.
It's under the "Account Settings" Menu.
The only sensible one's are the random generated ones of ones that you will be able to remember very well, but no one else won't.
Click on:Account-->Set Recovery QuestionsOr just follow the related links below.
go to "recover questions" & type one of your old passwords then click i didnt answer any recovery questions.
Recover your account. Make sure you always set recovery questions + Email on your account. Many other things such as your payment transaction # and credit card type is an essential. Hope you retrieve your account.
Since the introduction of the JAG (Jagex Account Guardian), it is no longer possible to setup recovery questions as it worked previously. We are now required to setup JAG for any sort of "recovery" security to be enabled on our accounts, so you'll have to setup JAG.
You can try to re-create an email with the same name. If that is not an option, I don't know - but perhaps you can use the recovery questions.
If you got password scammed, report the password scammer under "Password scamming". Immediately change your password (before the scammer does so), and perhaps change your recovery questions (or set new recovery questions if you have not done so). If they have already changed your password, you must provide recovery questions, and former passwords. This should give Jagex a person who made the account. I mean literally, a scammer is not going to know the accounts last 3 passwords:D. You can also, in your message, tell Jagex your Runescape Bank Number. Provide liable stats if you want to as well. (wont help you but, you never know:))
That is a private matter for that person, and should not be asked-especially here! If you are azamages on runescape, you should try recovering your password on the main website by answering your recovery questions, or if you are incapable of that, you could get a new account.
