Every game in the Final Fantasy series has a different and unique story line associated with it. One version of one game usually has nothing to do with the next game, meaning final fantasy 7 has nothing to do with final fantasy 8 although they are numbered next to each other. However, each Final fantasy game keeps several elements in each game. The following is a list of what you will find in most, if not all, final fantasy games: Each game deals with someone, usually a teenager, faced with the task of saving the world. Most final fantasy games have an ATB (active time battle) type of battle system. Most if not all Final Fantasy games feature Chocobos, golden birds you can ride across the lands usually for a price. Most games features Espers or summons, creatures you can call to assist you in battle. Most games feature a character knowledgeable in the field of electronics, most of the time it's someone by the name of Cid. You forgot the mole bats, which are inspiration for the moogles!
No. Final Fantasy 7 and Final Fantasy 13 are not connected storyline wise.
In my opinion its ff 7 or ff 13 or ff versus 13
Yeah, it relies pretty heavily on the storyline from XIII, wihtout having played XIII you won't understand everything.
Final fantasy is an AWESOME RPG and is enjoyable for both girls and boys. Each Final Fantasy has a very touching storyline, and has amazing graphics for whatever time it was released in. So in my opinion, Final fantasy rocks! I prefer number 7 and number 13. (Peace out x ~Midnight's Angel~)
If you're asking if you need to play any of the previous Final Fantasy games before you play Final Fantasy VII in order to understand the storyline, the answer is no. Each game has, for the most part, a stand-alone storyline completely different from the previous game(s).
Which final fantasy are you relating to? There are more than 13 of them!
Final Fantasy 13-2 is a direct sequel of Final Fantasy 13. It was created to improve the wrongs made in the first game and add a whole new story with new features.
