There are several reasons, but it still might be the way to go: 1. No built-in camera. If you want to videoconference with anyone, you probably want a netbook with a camera. 2. No flash. Apparently this is still the case, similar to the iPhone. Apple and Adobe seem to be at an impasse on this. 3. No built-in USB. These might not be issues for you, obviously.
