Which is better ps3 or xbox360?

x (ignore the "x" all the other answers gave to many opinions. I will give both facts and opinions)

I own both consoles. I will give my honest opinion. (A lot of people before were giving stuff like "PS3 OWNS, XBOX FAILS,etc). Xbox360 has been around a little bit longer than ps3, but the PlayStation console has been around for more than a decade (16 years to the exact) and people still play PS1 today! Even I do. But to get back on topic, Xbox 360 has better online PLAY, not for searching and things. PS3 has its own internet browser so you can go on YouTube, facebook, twiter,etc. PS3 has a blu ray lens so it reads blu rays not infared rays, which gives the PS3 its AWESOME graphics, and its ability to play blu ray movies.There are 2 versions of each console, slim and original. The original PS3 has backwords compatibility with the PS2 so it can play ALL PS2 games, The slim can play all PS1 games. Xbox 360 can only play original xbox games if it has BC on the came case. Which there are very few good ones. But if your looking for gameplay, i would go for PS3. Xbox 360 has good games, but they are all based on war or shooting. PS3 focuses on more of a variety. My favorite PS3 game would have to be inFAMOUS. I don;t have a favorite Xbox 360 game, but i do have a favorite xbox game, crash twinsanity was one of my old favorites. So in my opinion, If you can by one of them, go for the PS3. Enough said.

Actually. PS3's graphics are better. The internet on the PS3 is way better than the Xbox 360. You can search it on Google. The official gamer site.
Well, I had the same question 1 year ago when I had 300$ and wanted a console.

After a bit of researching I had discovered this:

PROS:

BETTER GRAPHICS

BETTER FRIEND COMMUNICATION AND MULTIPLAYER

MOST COMMON CONSOLE (BESIDES WII)

HIGHER QUALITY CONTROLLER

CAN PLAY BOTH GAMES AND DVDS AND MOVIES

CONS:

EXPENSIVE

YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR MULTIPLAYER (60$ YEAR) (DONT HAVE TO)

RROD MANUFATURING ERROR (A RARE MANUFACTURING ERROR THAT RENDERS YOUR XBOX UNUSABLE)

PS3:

PROS:

FREE MULTIPLAYER

BLUE-RAY PLAYER

MORE SUPPORTIVE OF LOCAL MULTIPLAYER (SPLIT-SCREEN)

CONS:

WORSE MULTIPLAYER THAN XBOX

WORSE QUALITY CONTROLLER

SLIGHT WORSE GRAPHICS (NOT THAT NOTICABLE)

So, our descisions basically come down to this:

Xbox 360: Quality, Expensive

PS3: Less Quality, Inexpensive

If my descision matters, I bought the Xbox, and I love it!
