Why are there no nuclear bombs in Halo 2?

Bombs in Halo 2Because then if it did, then it would destroy most of the maps, if your on them, and modders would have a great advantage and if an atomic bomb in Halo happened to be set off, the players, including yourself, would either be laggy or have blue screen or something (don't question the massive power of bungie)..........also.....halo (the rings) are sort of like atomic bombs. (but stronger.)

There are Shiva nuclear warheads which are similar and are used by the UNSC to take care of Covenant fleet and such

Also earth is the only human planet left so the UNSC wouldn't use a nuclear bomb because that would completely destroy the area and that area would be completely useless to humans as well
