Why doesn't sims 2 seasons work with Windows 7?

According to the Windows 7 compatibility center at Microsoft, The Sims 2 is compatible with Windows 7. I would suggest you check with EA as there may be a patch\update for the game or they may be aware of the issue.

Sometimes the laptop can't handle it i tried doing the same but sometimes it crashes and sometimes it doesn't. So I think it just depends on the laptop.
