Please do your research on Swimming Pools with salt systems!
A salt system is simply a chlorine generator. The only difference is that the chlorine (sodium hypochlorite) is made fresh on site.
A salt water pool is a chlorine pool. The difference is that in a normal fresh water pool you have to add the chlorine as it is required. In the case of the salt water pool salt is added to the pool which is int urn run through a chlorine generator that is installed on the pipe leading from the filter to the pool. The chlorine generator electronically separates chlorine gas out of the salt water which then dissolves into the water automatically maintaining chlorine levels. The adidion of salt to the water makes it more pleasant to swim in and you are spared having to handle and store chlorine at home. but the problem is you are still swimming in Chlorine and now you are also swimming in sodium.
Salt water pools typically maintain a similar temperature to chlorine pools since the method of sanitization (salt vs. chlorine) does not significantly affect the water temperature. Other factors, such as sun exposure, time of day, and climate, have a greater impact on the water temperature of the pool.
Yes, water is water and it is conductive regardless if it has salt vs. chlorine in it.
Salt chlorine generators use about 500kw. Tablet in-line feeders use none. They're just plumbed so the water passes through them during normal circulation.
They are both in fact chlorine pools chlorine pools The difference is that in one you add chlorine directly And in the salt water pool there is a chlorine generator that makes chlorine from the salt that that has been added to the pool. Until recently sodium chloride (common salt) was used in these pools and this gave the water a nice feel for the swimmers. Recently however a new system using magnesium and potassium chloride has been introduced making the water healthy to swim in and good to water the garden with if you are inclined to reuse back wash.
(1) is there enough salt in the Pool?(2) is the chlorine generator turned on?(3) is the chlorine generator reasonably clean? Some of them can get clagged up with calcium and they wont work properly while that is the case they will also impede the flow of water through the system when they are like that.(4) have the chlorine generator elements reached their use by date?(5) Is there enough acid in the water? If it is clean and working you are often able to observe tiny bubbles coming away from the element.Have a talk with your pool shop if all of the above checks out in the mean time keep up the like you would in an ordinary pool
After non-chlorine shock there is not any waiting time for swimming. Though it is still best to add it in at night, you could add anytime and swim right away.
Ozone is basically harmless to humans but is very corrosive and a very effective way of keeping pool water safe. However it does have a reputation for corroding pool fittings and plumbing. the salt system uses salt "sodium chloride" Mixed into the water at very low concentration which is then electronically turned into chlorine which in turn sanitizes the water. sodium chloride makes the water feel more pleasant to swim in bot is not necessarily good for the garden so all backwashing has to be done to waste and can not be reused unless you use the new Magnesium and potassium chloride system to make the chlorine, in that case the stuff is actually god for you and your garden.
Sodium chloride is very soluble in water.
You can go for copper ionization technology. It is one the best and healthiest alternative for saltwater swimming pool. If you are looking to know more about Copper ionization visit Intec America website.
Yes, salt water is denser than fresh water so boats float higher in salt water.
it rusts
