I have never heard of Automatic pool cleaner rentals any where. including Houston. I have an Orion Dolphin (AC/ self contained -not connected to the pump). The motor is being repaired (under warranty), but is on back- order. Since I ordered it online (at wholesale- 35% less than stores!), I had use the FED-EX shipping label they emailed me and sent it to ASD Pool Supply in Seguin, Texas (who fulfills the warranty work for the wholesale distributer- Maytronics). With the motor on back- order, I'm out! ASD's rep said if I were local, THEY RENT AUTOMATIC POOL CLEANERS/ROBOTS for $30/day. I can't believe the 4th largest city in our country (and 2nd largest HOT city) doesn't have anyone renting these... This robot is a mandatory "helper" in my life!I THINK I HAVE FOUND A NICHE' MARKET THAT CAN EASILY BE FULFILLED, NATIONWIDE, as these self-contained robots continue to take over the old "Polaris"- pump connected cleaners!
Any pool vacuum can, including the Polaris.
How do I vacuum an above ground doughboy pool?
A vacuum head that has a brush on the bottom - no wheels.
To turn on the pool vacuum, locate the power switch on the vacuum unit and flip it to the "on" position. Make sure the vacuum is properly connected to the pool's filtration system before turning it on.
To turn on a pool vacuum, first connect the vacuum head to the telescopic pole and attach the hose to the vacuum head. Then, lower the vacuum into the pool and connect the other end of the hose to the skimmer or designated suction port. Finally, turn on the pool pump to start the vacuuming process.
Yes
The same as the floor vacuum inside the house but instead of it sucking air it sucks water through the filter. Just run the pool hose from the pool vacuum to the vacuum plate over the top of the leaf basket. then turn on the pump and runi t along the floor of the pool.
Like any other above ground pool, maunally with a hose, pole and vacuum, or with an automatic cleaner.
If your filter is repaired then you can just vacuum the pool.
submerge the hose in the pool first to get all of the air out, then attach to the skimmer.
If the pool is shocked give it a scrub down with a pool broom / brush leave it for a day then vacuum the rubbish of the bottom. If there is a lot of algae present Vacuum to waste
Like any other above ground pool, maunally with a hose, pole and vacuum, or with an automatic cleaner.
