The pool inlet may not be working due to a clogged filter, which restricts water flow. Additionally, there could be a blockage in the Plumbing lines or a malfunctioning pump that prevents proper circulation. It's also possible that the inlet valve is closed or damaged, preventing water from entering the pool. Regular maintenance and inspections can help identify and resolve these issues.
They use to have an adapter that would go from the hose to the inlet side of the pool which in turn went to the pump, most above ground pool use flex hose from the skimmer basket of the pool to the pump, you may just have to put a tee fitting in from the inlet side of the pool and add another inlet just so that you can vacuum, and cap this when you are finished vacuuming, this would be on the outside of the pool this would be added anywhere from the pump back to the pool on the inlet side.
To determine the inlet supply for a pool heater, first assess the heater's specifications, including the required flow rate and inlet size. Measure the pool's total volume and desired temperature increase, then calculate the necessary flow rate using a pool heating calculator or formulas that consider these factors. Finally, ensure the existing plumbing can accommodate the required flow rate and is compatible with the heater's inlet size, making adjustments as needed.
old diesel with no electric ignition. fit snorkel pipes on inlet and exhaust
The name for a basin of shallow water that is linked to the sea by an inlet is lagoon. Some words closely related to lagoon are pond, pool, gulf, and bayou.
The pool jets may not be working properly due to clogging, airlock, or a malfunction in the pump or filter system.
If your Mexican landscapers let their children swim in your pool while they are working in your yard, ..... your pool has lice.
I'm not sure about a pool, but with a hot tub, backwashing refers to reversing the flow of water through the filter so as to flush the filter of the sediment it has collected. There should be a valve on the inlet side of the filter that diverts (reverses) the flow of water. Assuming your filter is working properly, you should rarely have to drain and refill the pool. Hope that helps. Call a pool service to have them do a show and tell about your pool. The one time charge will be well worth it. Take a lot of notes because you will never remember all the advice.
The connection on top is from the filter inlet (discharge of the pump). The connection on the opposite side of this one is the filter outlet back to the pool. The connection below the filter inlet is for backwashing the filter.

A pool of shallow water connected to the sea is called a tide pool. There are some fish which live here and are known as offshore fish.
You must purge the air out of the line that sucks the water out of your pool(inlet to pump side). This is usally done by opening a bleeder valve on top of the filter cover. #1 Shut inlet and outlet valve to pool. #2 Clean or change filter and re-install lid. #3 Open pool line valve on inlet to pump side. #4 Open bleeder valve on top of pump until only water comes out, then close bleeder valve. #5 Open pool valve from (pump to pool side) outlet to pool side. #6 Turn pump back on. Running your pump without water for more than a few seconds can damage or burn up your pump.
