The Miroku 28 gauge over/under shotgun with the serial number M232xxx, marked with Charles Daly on the barrel, indicates that it was manufactured by Miroku in Japan, a well-respected maker known for producing high-quality shotguns. The Charles Daly branding suggests it was imported and marketed under that name, likely during the late 20th century. Miroku shotguns are generally recognized for their craftsmanship and reliability, making them sought after by collectors and enthusiasts. For specific production details or value, consulting a firearms expert or appraiser familiar with Miroku's history would be beneficial.
