A JC Higgins Model 30 typically requires a Weaver scope mount that is designed for a specific type of action, often a Mauser or similar. The Weaver 1-inch scope rings are commonly used, along with a base that fits the receiver of the rifle. It’s essential to verify the specific model of the Model 30, as there may be slight variations in the mounting system. For the best fit, consult the manufacturer's specifications or a knowledgeable gunsmith.
