The ancient Greeks invented Martial Arts. Alexander the great invented Pankration which led to the invention of other martial arts. Alexander the Great in his conquests of the Middle East and Asia (mainly India and the middle east) and the Asians learned it and that's when they started making all of their martial arts. And the ancient Romans and Chinese having what's called the silk road which led from the Roman province of Rome to China they both invented it together. The Chinese being very primitive like the ancient Aztecs and Mayans didn't have the technology or tools to make gun powder on thirty own traded ideas with Rome and the Romans helped them make it. First of all the like half of the ingredients to make ancient gunpowder could only be found in Europe (which belonged to the Romans) not in Asia. And the ancient Chinese lacked any form of mathematics which does help in creating it and the Chinese had no ability to compress the material into a nice fine powder (the ancient Romans did).
