As the Bible is a letter from God and beneficial for our teaching and setting things straight according to 2 Timothy 3: 16,17 . I will give you the answer that comes from the accurate source, The Bible which is a library of 66 Books.

The first Book of the Bible is called Genesis, which explains where and how the world began.

Genesis 1: 1 reads. " In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Verse 2 explains that the earth was formless and desolate. The preparation of the earth was done in 6 periods that the Bible calls days. Genesis 1: 3-31

Most scientists agree that the univers had a beginning and Astronomy magazine reports: " New research suggests ancient Earth was a water world, with little to no land in sight". As confirmed in Genesis 1: 2; 7: 11 . Psalm 33: 6 reads " By the word of Jehovah God the heavens were made, and by the spirit of his mouth everything in them".

According to Genesis 2: 7 God greated the first human with the dust from the ground and then blew life into his nostrils and the man became a living person.

He was place in a garden called E'den, where four rivers were devided. Those rivers have a name, which are Pi'shon, Gi'hon, Hid'de.kel and Eu.phra'tes. Read Genesis 2: 11-14. Those rivers still exist and are easy to be found on any world map.

The Eu.phra'tes rivers is the longest and most important river SW Asia, called the Firat Nehri in Turkish mentioned in Genesis 2: 14. So you can have an idea where our world all started. The location of the garden of Eden according to the names of those 4 rivers is somewhere near the head of the Persian Gulf in Lower Mesopotamia.

So to answer your question which is "How and where did the world begin? The answer according to the Bible is, it was created by God in six periods and it can be located somewhere near the Persian Gulf.
