The end of WW2well the Germans lost most of their land and no longer had control over the areas in which they taken over. A big time evil leader Adolf Hitler corrupted and died, so the army fell apart. The wall in Belgium was torn down and the East and West part of Germany were reunited. Families were seen again and later on communism ended, but that was a different story.

After ¼ of Germany was taken the population grew rapidly due to Germans being kicked out of newly claimed land. The burden of having to feed, house, and employ so many extra refugees took a toll on this shrunken and divided Germany.
