In world war 1 there was the triple entente and the triple alliance. the triple entente was Germany austria-Hungary, and Italy, the triple alliance were Britain France, and russia, so there was 3 allies
1.The initial alliances by european countries. 2.Build up of military forces. 3.The assassination of Arch-Duke Ferdinand (sparked the start of the war).
There were many more than 3 factors that contributed to the outbreak of WW1 in 1914: - The militaristic behaviour of many European countries, as they competed in an 'arms race'. All countries were increasing their military capacities in preparation for a looming conflict: In 1906, Britain launched the Dreadnought- the most powerful battleship of the time. Germany introduced conscription. Britain secured her navy. Germany devises the Schlieffen plan to attack France. - The alliances between European countries: Britain, France and Russia formed the Triple Entente, while Germany, Austro-Hungary and Italy formed the Triple Alliance. Germany offers Serbia a 'black cheque' to fight against Serbia, and Russia promised to defend Serbia against the Austrians. - Nationalistic views: The countries were all mistrusting of one another, and had prepared for conflict. However, it was triggers which caused the war to start when it did: On 28th June 1914, Serb Student and member of 'Black Hand' group assassinates Austrian Archduke Franz Ferdinand and his wife Sophie on their visit to Sarajevo. Due to the alliances, countries declare war upon one another. Germany invades Belgium using the Shlieffen plan, and and war is declared by more countries.
WW1 started because of 4 MAIN reasons and the spark. 1. Militarism: all the European countries were building their armies and fighting forces and the other countries fellt threatened. 2. Alliance System: alliances were forming (the triple alliance and the triple entente) and the continent was splitting in half. 3. Imperialism: the expansion of one's power, like Britain's power over Canada, many countries were gaining control over other countries. 4. Nationalism: all the countries were very proud of themselves and wanted power. The Spark: In June 1914, Archduke Ferdinand of Austria-Hungary was parading through the country when a Serbian terrorist from the Blue hand shot both the arch duke and dutchess. This caused Austria-Hungary and Serbia to become at war. The alliance system brought all the other countries into WW1 hope that answers your questions. WW1 is an important time in Canada's history so i hope this helps!
At the beginning of World War I, the following three countries were members of the Triple Entente (or, Triple Alliance): Great Britain, France, Imperial Russia. Many other countries would join this alliance by the war's end.
Cao Dai speaks of three major alliances: the Triple Alliance of Heaven, Earth, and Humanity. These alliances represent the unity and harmony between the spiritual and physical realms, as well as the connection between humans and the divine.
The integers 3 and 4 form part of the 3-4-5 Pythagorean triple.
