Well the rules of England was a queen, so they women there had good wrights at that time. :) hope it helped.

^wrong.

Women in the 1600's did not have many rights even though there was a queen in rule. Queen Elizabeth didn't do much to improve the rights of women and some historians will say that women's rights decreased during her reign.

Not a lot. Mind you, they tried. The principal female agitator, and co-author of the Declaration of the Rights of Woman was OLYMPE DE GOUGES; but she and her friends never persuaded any of the revolutionary Governments to adopt the Declaration.

French women got the vote in 1944 and first got to use it in 1945.

Actually, women did not get the right to vote during the revolution but, women could only own property. Olympe De Gouges wrote "The Rights of Women" and she accused the Jacobins for the corruption of the Reign Of Terror so she was sent to the goullitone(i think that's how u spell it). It is the machine that people used to execute others.

Very few. They couldn't hold a title to land, couldn't vote, had to obey the man of the house, whether that man was their husband, father, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, grandfather or any other male relative. They could not pick their husband, their father arranged his daughter's marriage, which usually was a merger of sorts between two wealthy families.
