The Allies agreed on a Europe First strategy primarily because they viewed Nazi Germany as the most significant and immediate threat to global security and stability. By focusing their efforts on defeating Germany first, they aimed to weaken the Axis powers' capabilities and prevent further aggression in Europe. This strategy allowed them to consolidate resources and coordinate military operations effectively, while also ensuring that the liberation of occupied countries could pave the way for a more coordinated approach to Japan in the Pacific later on.
Germany was divided into four.Germany after WW 2
At the Potsdam Conference in July-August 1945, the Allies agreed to split Germany into four zones of occupation, which were administered by the United States, the United Kingdom, France, and the Soviet Union. This division was intended to ensure that Germany would not pose a threat in the future and to facilitate its reconstruction after World War II. Additionally, the conference addressed post-war order and territorial changes in Europe, as well as the prosecution of war criminals.
They met at Yalta to coordinate their plans for ending the war. They met at Potsdam, after victory in Europe, to agree on the shape of post-war Europe (who controlled what).
It wasn’t a nation but a city and that was Berlin, Germany. That created two separate Germany’s one called East Germany controlled by Russia and west Germany controlled by the western nations.
There was once a beautiful girl named Keren Satkin...she was Russian. So the Germans held her hostage so that way the crazy Russians would agree to fight on the German side. The Allies decided to declare war on Germany so that way they could capture the Russian princess Keren and breed her with Sam Resendes to increase the over all attractiveness of the United States of America....the end P.S. Because the Allies were on the opposing side; the Allies didn't agree with what was happening in Europe. America only joined the Allies after Pearl Harbor, which was caused by Japan. Japan was a member of the Axis, and thus an ally of Germany. The Allies (especially Britain, during the Battle of Britain), proved that they weren't going to let Hitler achieve his plans.
I'm sorry I don't have an answer, but this question is on my junior history final, word for word. lol
In return for ending unrestricted submarine warfare, Germany sought to have the United States agree to respect its interests in Europe and potentially negotiate a peace settlement that would favor Germany's territorial ambitions. Additionally, Germany hoped to limit American support for the Allies, particularly in terms of military supplies and financial aid. This was part of a broader strategy to shift the balance of power in Europe in favor of the Central Powers.

Franklin D. Roosevelt and Winston Churchill agreed to concentrate their war efforts first in North Africa. This decision was part of the strategy to gain a foothold in Europe by defeating Axis forces in the region before moving on to more direct assaults on Europe, such as the invasion of Italy and later Normandy. Their collaboration aimed to alleviate pressure on the Soviet Union while also securing vital Mediterranean routes.
