countries want a empire so that they can either be powerful or they will have the power to run countries
I think you mean "why did the Roman Empire want Britain." The British empire began in the 1600s, twelve hundred years after the Roman empire fell and two centuries after Byzantine, the eastern half was conquered. Rome wanted the isle of Briton because it was a nation of soldiers and conquers and they wanted land and more taxes, as well as something for their soldiers to do.
Wealth and power. With wealth comes power. What other reason is there?
cuz tha did
because we were sick and tired of being invaded, and it was a form of retaliation.
Russians and Serbians are both Slavic peoples. They have similar languages, cultures, backgrounds, and religions. This compelled the Russian leaders to want to help the Serbs. Though the did not gain independence, the Serbs did gain autonomy.
The Serbians had a dream of a greater Pan-Serbia, with all Serbian speaking people and the territory they lived on united under the Serbian flag. There were ethnic Serbs living in the massive neighboring Austro-Hungarian Empire, and the Serbs coveted this population and the area where they lived for Serbia. Ferdinand was Heir to the Throne of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. The old Emperor, Franz Josef, had been on the throne fifty six years, and had to die sometime soon. Ferdinand had shown signs of being a reformer. The Serbs worried that once on the throne Ferdinand might be so conciliatory and accommodating to the ethnic Serbs in his Empire that these ethnic Serbs would loose all desire, if they had any, to be out of the Empire and to become a part of Serbia. So, in effect, Ferdinand was killed for being a nice guy.
because it would be better for rome empire to keep the peeple happy
Ignorance, bigotry and fear.
The 3 main populations in Bosnia are: Bosnian Muslim Bosnian Serbs Bosnian Croats Very generally speaking the Serbs are Orthodox, the Croats are Catholic and the Muslims are Muslim. The langauges these people speak are basically the same (once called 'Serbian-Croatian') but there are differences in spelling and pronunciation. Politically most Bosnian people are happy with the status quo and want to live in peace but there are still many Bosnian Serbs who want to be part of Serbia, many Bosnian Croats who want to be part of Croatia and many Bosnian Muslims who resolutely don't want their country to be divided up.
No. It's more that the UN did not fulfill its mission to help the Bosnian Bosniaks against the Bosnian Serbs. If you want to read that as indirect help to the Bosnian Serbs, you can, but this was not the intent or purpose of the UN forces, especially those in Srebrenica.
To join Europian Union But, because this is posted nn WW1 section I will answer. IN WW1 they wanted to liberate their country and liberate all Serbs on Balkns and unite them in one single state. They succeded and that's how Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovens is born. (lter renamed KIngdom of Yugoslavia;Yugoslavia literary means South Slavia)
I Want to Be Happy was created in 1925.
Croatian Bunjevac-Šokac Party's motto is 'We want the same rights that Serbs have in Croatia'.
Why did the First World War break out? Britain had a large empire which was protected by the royal navy. Britain felt threatened by the Germans growing naval power and their political ambitions overseas. Germany had a well trained army and a growing navy. They were jealous of Britain's navy and empire. Russia was a huge country and was rules by tsar. Russia wanted land around the black sea and the Mediterranean so it became a close ally of Serbia and a rival with Austria. They saw themselves protectors of Serbia and the Serbs. This was because Russians and Serbs were slaves and they shared a similar language. The Russians also felt it was their duty to protect orthodox Christians of the Balkans region. Russia had a huge army, but it was badly equipped and poorly trained. France was a strong country but very anti German. Italy was a young country with a small army. The Austro- Hungarians Empire was very keen to establish the Balkans region. Within the empire there were different nationalities, including Serbs. They did not want Serbia to grow in influence because it might unsettle the Serbs in its empire. Since 1878 the Austria had been running the provinces of Bosnia-Herzegovina. In 1908 the Austrians formally took over Bosnia- Herzegovina. The Serbs and the Russians were furious at this action. However neither country was strong enough to act upon this action. In 1912 and 1913 the Balkans wars took place and Serbia emerged as a stronger state. This worried many Austrians who felt Serbia would need to be restrained. Eventually tension between the Austro Hungarian Empire and Serbia became war. The murder of Franz Ferdinand was the excuse for a war that the Austrians were looking for.
Because your getting what you want, you want that thing and if u get it it makes you happy.
