They both sound really fun! Bowling gives you more active fun and it takes energy. Movies aren't as active and you (and/or friends, family, etc.) could get treats and such to enjoy it with. Really it depends on moods, but if it were up to me I'd go bowling. If you're renting or already have the movie on DVD you could watch it any time. But that's just my opinion. They both sound good. Have fun!
Bowling is always a better date if you are trying to get to know someone. Going to the movies mean you sit in the dark not talking for 2 hours.
