Mexican Red Knee tarantulas are harmless. They only bite as a last resort, and if it did bite, it would be no worse than a bee sting. I've had one as a pet for years, and it has never been aggressive.
Yes, They can bite as can all animal's they are a good beginner species of tarantula to keep because they are quite docile and relatively slow moving, however they like all spider's have venom and to most people a bite from one is comparable to a bee sting... however some people are allergic to the venom so be careful when handling :)
no
The Coral snake and Mexican Milk snake are similar because of their colors, they both have three colors: Red, Black, and yellow.Coral snakes are preety dangerous so some Mexican Milk Snakes are killed for confustion of being a coral snake. The only way I can think of to tell the to species apart is "red and black friend of jack but red and yellow could kill a fellow"
Red frogs are sometimes dangerous, depending on their species. Their skin secretes a substance that is poisonous to a lot of animals. It does this in order to protect itself from predators that might try to eat it. But a lot of other frogs adapt this skin color as a protection also - except that these frogs don't secrete any poison. It's just the natural shock of the color that makes other predators think that some frogs may be poisonous and that they must avoid them, when they actually aren't poisonous. ~ Hexedgirl2
Red ants are not poisonous. Whilst they may be very irratating, and sitting on a red ants nest is far from pleasurable, red ants are not poisonous to humans. Red ants are aggressive and territorial, but to humans no real threat.
All spiders are poisonous; some venoms just have no or little discernible effect on humans. Color is not necessarily an indication of toxicity. Some spiders are red to blend in with their surroundings, some are red as a warning, and really are venomous, and some a red to mimic the truly venomous ones. In any case, color alone is not enough to determine how poisonous a spider is.
White phosphorus is very dangerous and not just because it is poisonous. Red phosphorus is considered less poisonous.
some are dangerous some are not the red salamander is an example of an poisonous salamander
no it's name just osuds dangerous.
Many organisms in the world are red because of the poisonous toxin found in their skin. Therefore they are very dangerous. In history red is depicted in many places as danger.
While there are many poisonous spiders, the only spider considered highly dangerous is the Red-Back.
As compared to white phosphorus, it is not so dangerous, as it is not poisonous and it does ignite spontaneously in air, if temperature is below 260 ºC. So, it is relatively stable and less reactive than white phosphorus.
Tarantulas and actually all spiders are not poisonous but venomous. most if not all spiders are venomous although the Mexican Red leg, or red knee (b.Smithi) venom is mild, it is about the same as a bee sting, you may swell a bit and the bite are will become very itchy. Most T's are not known for biting but a few are!
there is a poisonous spider called the black widow that has a black almost shiny looking body with a red "hourglass" shaped red splotch on their underbelly. if that spider is the one your are talking about...it is poisonous. if you need to see a pic to make sure just look one up in google images
These tarantulas are slightly venomous to humans, meaning their bite can be compared to the effects of a bee's sting. However, like bee stings, allergies can intensify the bite of a tarantula, meaning some people could die beacuse of it.
yellow ladybirds poop is poisonous if it gets into your skin but it would have to be there a while. the red ladybirds are not poisonous.
Yes, they can bite you, if they feel threatened. Call your local animal control. ============== Yes, a king snake could bite you, which could break the skin. However, it is not as dangerous as actual poisonous snakes. The coral snake is poisonous and has the same colors as the king, though in a different pattern. The way to tell the difference is what color ring touches the red ring. Red and black, friend of Jack; Red and yellow, kill a fellow.
A frog red and black in color? Poisonous!
