Yeah, mine does but since it's so delicate it gets pecked on a lot!:(
I will agree with him if your chicken is delicate then you will have a lot of picking on and fighting so try to make all your chickens as delicate as possible.Miniature silky chickens are a small breed of chickens known for their unique appearance, which includes a distinctive silky plumage that feels more like fur than feathers. They are primarily kept as ornamental birds because of their fluffy appearance and friendly temperament. They are relatively easy to care for but do require grooming to maintain their distinctive feathering.

Chickens live in nearly every part of the world. The only place chickens cannot survive is in the water. Chickens can even survive desert regions if they have enough food given to them by humans.
Chickens typically live in a coop or hen house on a farm or backyard setting, where they are provided with shelter, food, and protection from predators. They roam freely during the day and return to roost at night.

yes they can live in the same pen however if you are going to try to breed them i would suggest not. No silky can not live with other chickens especially with a roster i know this because when i put my silkies in with my Colombians they almost killed each other and then the hens were not as friendly as they were when they were separated they were very tatorial after i put them together till this day they still try to fight through the been so i wouldn't try it on less your standing right there.
You can keep Silke chicken with other chicken types. Like all chickens, they may not get along.

Silky chickens make fantastic pets (speaking from experience) I had 2 - Surfer, and Frothy. They are adorable! If you want pet chickens get them as babies, they will be tamer when the grow up and they will let you hold them. Also bantam sliky chickens would be good because they are smaller and easier to handle :)
Chickens live almost everywhere. Chickens as a species are adaptable and can be raised anywhere and often where most other animals could not live. If you are referring to the American Piedmont stretching from New Jersey to Alabama then yes, chickens live in the Piedmont.
