Yes you can definitely give a cat too much Sub Q fluids. The general guideline is 10 mL per pound of body weight at any given time. Often if the cat needs more than that they recommend splitting the fluid between two treatments. So say an 8 pound cat with CRF is told to have 150 mL a day per the vet it is recommend to give 75 mL at a time 12 hours apart. You would also have to feel around their chest and legs to be sure they have absorbed the previous fluids. Usually absorption takes 4 to 8 hours. If you give too much fluid it can gather around the heart and cause heart failure.

Should you give fluids to your cat while he is at the end of life?

I wish your question had more detail, but I am guessing that you have an old cat and the vet has recommended that you provide sub-cutaneous fluids? This is usually prescribed when an animal has a condition that affects the kidneys, and it is to combat dehydration. A dehydrated animal feels very sick and really suffers, so you need to do something to help them alleviate this. If the kidneys are not working well, you can make them feel a lot better with fluids. In some cases, a cat can have a good quality of life if kept hydrated. However, if there are other issues and the cat is very sick, this may not be enough. You have to find out from your vet. If you mean should you give a cat something to drink, YES! Always give an animal water and don't withhold water to bring the end of life. It's very cruel. I wish I had a better idea of what you are asking.

Are tigers claws always sticking out?

Yes, all of them can. The only cat in the whole Felidae (all cats) family that cannot retract their claws in the cheetah. Their claws act like cleats as traction while running. But the cheetah isn't "technically" a big cat. You see, the cat family (or Felidae) is divided into 2 sub-families, or groups within the family. Pantherinae has the big cats: the lion, tiger, leopard, jaguar, snow leopard, and clouded leopard. Felinae, the other sub-family, consists of small to medium sized cats: cheetah, lynx, bobcat, ocelot, caracal, sand cat, fishing cat, domestic cat, the list goes on and on. To make matters more complicated, these sub-familes are divided further into smaller groups, called the genus level. Yes, I know I sound like a total nerd for knowing all this, but hey, I like Phylogeny. Now stay with me. In this lovely Felinae sub-family, we have several genus levels. (The one with our lovely pet cats is called the genus Felis, which also contains the sand cat, the black-footed cat, the jungle cat, and I think the Chinese desert cat.) Sorry if I'm getting off track, but the reason cheetahs cannot unsheath their claws is because they are in a genus level all for themselves, lucky cats! Its called Acinonyx, which is in FeliNae, which is in FeliDAE, the main cat group. Wow how interesting! Now if you go to Wikipedia and look up Felidae you can get yourself a whole phylogenic tree!!YES!!How exciting! I hope this answers your question! Ta-ta! :)

If you have an amp rated at 425watts 4ohms pushing a sub rated at 250watts 4ohms will the amp recognize the sub and only give it 250 or give it the whole 425?

it will not notice the sub as 250 so it will give 425 so you will have to tune the amp down so the sub does not blow out

How do you get the best quality out of a subwoofer?

To get the best quality out of a subwoofer is to check the RMS power rating on the sub and make sure that the amp is sending that power out in that power range. if not enough power is going to the sub it will not perform to its fullest but if too much power is going to the sub it will not sound good and possibly blow the sub. and also the type of box the sub is in effects how good it sounds. a sealed box will give you a longer range of sound while a ported or vented box will give you more bass.
