No, they don`t hibernate! Actualy, hermit crabs stay in there shell when it`s to cold because they live in a warmer climate, Or when the crab is ready to change shells, they dig into the sand to get ready; it`s kind of like saying goodbye to there old home. They stay in sand for days to prepare. Then they will come up to get ready. It`s a good idea not to disturb them. When they come out certain hermet crabs (like small ones)might die just seconds after coming up! You can tell if they are dead when they start to stink or there color has faded or become brighter. If your crab has a color on it`s claw like purple, green,or any other color check if it`s color has faded to it`s skin color. By, internet send your messages to Wolfysmom01@Yahoo.com
I don't think they do. I think they just move around. They might move to colder waters when it's summer. But other then that I think they stay at the bottom of the ocean
No they would die
little squids
It's diet consists of mainly large fish.
they lay eggs that stick to rocks. than a male come to fertilize them. Once the eggs have hatched, the hatchlings will drift to sallower waters to mature than swim back to deeper waters again. I am researching this information for my grade six project on the googly eyed glass squid, and I am inferring that other glass squids reproduce the same way. Hope this helps.
squids dont have legs....
hibernate
Giant squids are to be in the wild. They are not to friendly to people.

a giant squids prey is the size of a sperm whale
The habitat for both giant squids & small squids is mainly in the ocean, because that is where they get their food from, & that is where they are able to live.
No, they reproduce by laying eggs.
Yes. Giant squids can even kill great white sharks.
There have been reports of huge dead squids but one has never been seen live.

they never meet up in the wild that much because giant squids favor deeper water, but if they met a penguin has no chance of surviving.
