well it matters what age, if you neuter your dog at a young age any "male" behaviors will be stopped before they are learnt. But if your dog has been entire till lets say 7 years of age then the behaviors will most likely be the same as they have already learnt these behaviors. If you dont want your dog neutered training is the best option, even after getting your entire male neutered training to erase any bad behavior is the best option.
