Any so called 'cold-blooded' animal, such as snakes, reptiles or amphibians are endothermic. Which means that they absorb heat from their environment for their body temperature.
^ This answer is not right. This is an example of a Ectothermic animal.

An Endothermic animal is all mammals and birds.
They can produce their own heat internally.
Whereas, an Ectothermic animal are fish, amphibians and reptiles.
They rely on their surrounding environment for the control of their body temperature.
:)
Endothermic animals have adaptations such as fur, blubber, or down feathers to help them retain the heat their body produces. In order to cool down, these animals have sweat glands to take advantage of evaporative cooling.

There are no warm blooded reptiles that exist today. However, the fossil record strongly suggests that a number of extinct reptiles were warm blooded. This includes the reptiles that were ancestral to mammals, the pterosaurs, and probably even dinosaurs.
Mammals and Birds are the only endothermic animals.
Endothermic animals are mammals and birds. Ectothermic animals are amphibians, fish and reptiles. Hope this helped you
Endothermic animals maintain constant body temperature in a number of ways. One way is to lay out in the sun.
Mammals and birds are the two classes of animals that are endothermic. The term 'endothermic' is the biological term for an animal that is warm-blooded.
both endothermic and ectothermic animals must regulate their body temperature
Mammals are considered as endothermic animals; see also the link below.
Endothermic and cold blooded is exothermic
Not all animals are endothermic (actually). The reptilian family is not endothermic and can survive without the warm-blood. Mostly, mammals are endothermic and not usually the reptile class.
Yes , most of endothermic animals are birds and mammals and they care for their young ones .
Endothermic animals are animals that make heat on the inside. Endo- = inside Thermic= heat Endothermic= inside heat. This includes mammals and birds.
Mammals are endothermic, reptiles are exothermic. Endothermic animals can regulate their body temperature. Cold blooded or exothermic animals can not regulate their body temperature. Exothermic animals have to get their body heat from an outside source..hence the EXO....thermic. Endothermic is from the inside..hence the ENDO....thermic.
Endothermic animals maintain constant body temperature in a number of ways. One way is to lay out in the sun.
A endothermic maintain a nearly constant internal body temperature regardless of the temperature of their environment. These animals are called warm- blooded animals.
Mammals and birds are the two classes of animals that are endothermic. The term 'endothermic' is the biological term for an animal that is warm-blooded.
Zebras are warm-blooded animals. They are a member of the horse family with distinct black-and-white striped patterns. Zebras live in Africa.
Endothermic animals are those that must generate their own heat to maintain their body temperature. These animals are commonly referred to as "warm-blooded." An animal that is endothermic is categorized as an endotherm, and this includes all mammals. The opposite of an endotherm is an ectotherm.
they have hair, fur , and they are warmblooded
Yes. :D
Yes. A glider, a member of the possum family, is endothermic, able to maintain its own body temperature. It is a mammal, and mammals and birds are endothermic. The term 'endothermic' is the biological term for an animal that is warm-blooded.
