How dangerous are lions?

Yes it is dangerous because if you go near then it will attack your body and eat you
Yes because if it was n`t it would have been a pray .If you were a lions friend you would n`t like to because sometimes the lions brain gets hunger and then it hunts

for meat and if it grabs you,you`ll never like lions any more.
If you have recently eaten something that has and blood or was once alive (not a vegetable or fruit), or you can recently deon something in a toilet then yes, yes they are. Make sure you have not been anywhere near meat or blood before you go to the NYZ!

Given that 70 people are killed by lions in Tanzania each year, I think it is safe to assume lions can be dangerous to humans...

Apparently even Elsa the 'tame' lioness caused more damage to people than was reported in Joy Adamson's books. A wild animal never completely loses its natural instincts to hunt.

Having spent nearly a year in Southern Africa as a wildlife photographer. I would say lions are very dangerous, Particularly in the wild. They hunt in packs, usually just the females. The incidents, whether injury or death of human beings, are largely unreported due to the effect it may have on the tourist trade. There were 5 incidents while i was there, usually ending in death. They will eat humans. Like most wild animals, they protect their young with vigor. If you see one, know that there are others near by. Beware of tall grass which lions can literally disappear into. They can be yards from the road and you would never know it. They are meat eaters and can reach 500lbs. Just imagine the amount of damage your domestic cat can do and multiply it many fold. If you are interested in going on safari, I suggest studying up well about the wildlife and reptiles. They are nothing like zoo animals and storybook characters.Don't go without a guide. If you are in a vehicle, stay in it. Otherwise they are amazing creatures that should be seen in their beauty and majesty, giving them great respect.
