You should just know that it is in a better place. You could pray and tell God how you feel.

ANSWER:

Think of good times or funny things that happened, If you have pictures, look at them. Same with vieos. Don't try to forget, it seems to make it hurt more that way.

Just give it time, It'll get better. Like others said above ^^, remember that the pet is not is pain anymore if it was before.Think of good times and you'll soon find that it doesn't hurt much as much anymore. :)

Pesonally, after a couple of days of mourning I drown myself in TV and internet and try to forget it. I really don't think this is healthy and don't suggest it, its really best to just let it out.

To get over your pet's death, the simplest thing you can do is don't get a pet. But that makes life too easy, and if you live alone, even lonelier. So if you don't think you can get over your pet's death don't get one. Other than that I think time will have to heal your wound. Maybe getting another pet might help but it's different in all cases. Me on one hand, I have an 8 year old golden retriever and she is so great! But she is getting old and I know she is getting close, I don't know how long it's going to take me to get over it with out the dog I'ver had since I was 2, and another animal might just remind me of her. So I don't really know but I hope all you got out of that bad answer was good!

What do pets at home do with dead animals?

Strange question. Wonder where you got this idea from? Anyways, pets do strange things with dead animals, usually it depends on the pet. I have seen pets roll on dead carcases of birds and rats and some some even pick at it or eat it. Then there are the pets that we have to love, they just leave the dead thing alone, some will only give it a sniff then leave it be. I have also seen dogs and cats bury a dead bird or a rat they found, I think they were trying to hide it for later snack time. For an pet at home, they would bury it in their own bed or their owners bed. Any were they think their snack will be safest at. Well, I hope this helped and it was the answer you were looking for.

Which bin do you put a dead cat in?

Dig a pit at least four ft. deep with length & width suitabe to the size of the dead pet. Cover the bottom with a single layer of cloth. Put the dead pet on the cloth piece. Put salt on the dead pet atleast equal to one fourth of the weight of dead pet. Fill up the pit in the same way as in case of burial of human dead body.

Does burying a dead pet smell?

Burying a dead pet can create some temporary odor as the body decomposes. The smell will eventually dissipate as the body breaks down. It's important to choose a location for burial that is far enough away from your living space to prevent any unpleasant odor.
