How many kittens can cats have on their first kittens?

It doesn't usually go over six kittens and I'd say the average is four However, not all kittens survive after birth

My cat gave birth to 8 kittens over a period of 4 hours, and all have been doing very well over the past 14 hours.screaming for their mum as usual.. I was quite shocked when my daughter screamed at me saying she was having another one...number 7 and 5 minutes later to my Horror had and 8th lol....how im going to feed and toilet train 8 kittens is beyond me..but i love them all just the same...OH!!! and my daughter wants to keep one, a female of COURSE!!!

recently my Persian cat had 4 cute kittens!2 years ago she had an amazing 8 and all of them survived.i kept one ginger one who is now 2.my cat has litters about every year so she has made us lots of money.once she had four kittens but sadly all of the died.

i think around 6 kittens for the first few years. my cat did since she is 8 now she had 3 last year and 4 this year when they get older they won't have as many kittens
