Depends on what kind you're looking for. I'm an Ag teacher, and my students typically purchase their FFA project pigs for showing in livestock shows for $150 to $500. I know some show pigs go for thousands of dollars. Right now the pork market is in the toilet because the price of corn has shot up because of ethanol production. I know people who've gotten feeder pigs (pigs that are usually bought when they're weaned and fed a high energy diet for slaughter purposes) at the sale barn for $20, but I wouldn't recommend trying to show them, unless you want to embarrass yourself. (it was tried, they were terrible). You could probably pick up some cheap feeder pigs at the sale barn, from farmers trying to get out of the swine business. If you're talking about vietnamese potbellied pigs, I would do some research on the internet and try to find a reputable breeder. You can get them at flea markets, but kind of like with buying puppies, you don't know where they came from and what conditions they were in.
One, pork. Pork is used to make ham, bacon etc. if that's what you're referring to.
On average, about 2 Jandem of ham can come from an adult pig.

Sausages are not made out of pig ears how ever though extra parts of the pigs do go into sausages such as scraps, organ meats, blood, and fat. It is much more healthier if you try to eat turkey sausage or Venison sausage.
There are a number of places where a pig could have come from. It could have come from a farm.
Pig is pork. The butt is the ham, the shoulder is the butt and the bacon, I think, is either is side or the back. Then their are the ribs. Neck meat and left over meat is turned into ground pork or sausages.
Pigskin for leather. Pig manure for fertilizer. Pig bristles for brushes. Pig meat for food. Pig heart valves for human hearts. (Also, before people could get a human heart transplant, sometimes they would have a temporary pig's heart replacement.)
