It all depends on how you look after your kitten if you feed it as much as it wants in small but frequent meals, and treat it well it will most probably way more than a kitten that's not fed often enough. Generally speaking though, the weight of an average and healthy 8 week kitten is usually 2 pounds (roughly 900 grams).

How much a 7 year old cat should weigh greatly depends on what kind of a cat it is and if it tends to have a large or small frame. Smaller cats should weigh in at anywhere from around 9 to 11 pounds, while very large cats can safely weigh 14 to 16 pounds, depending on the breed.

An average 7-8 week old kitten should weigh about 2.2 pounds. So, if your kitten is over or under by a pound i wouldn't worry. If its over or under by a lot than you should feed less or more. I hope this answered your question!

Generally between 7 and 9 pounds but the weight depends on several factors. Genetics, how active the cat is, and what type of food the cat eats and how much.
