My 2 rats died and they were both fine before bed i got up and 1 was dead the other 1 was dying they were both soaked but we think they ate something or did your rats get out and get into something? Because mine(i think not sure tho) got into baby powder i think and never hold 1 if it is soaked and or shaking alot and not breathing alot (only if this occurs, other wise take to vet if suffering if possible) 1 bit me twice and it really hurt. i can tell you this, always give them enough water, hold them, and you always must have more than 1 rat because if not ur little 1 rat will die without a buddy and clean their cage often. i have had rats a few times but this is the first time ever 1 bit me. it bit me because it was in pain srry if this happens to you this is no lie!! IF YOUR RAT IS SUFFERING, ABOUT TO DIE, TURN ON HOT WATER, (not too too hot, more than warm) AND LET UR RAT STAY UNDER IT BUT DONT DROWN IT THIS WILL OPEN UP ITS LUNGS HOPE I HELPED
