If their are any other symptoms this may be an indication of some kind of sickness. but if its just oily skin it could be- shampoo's you use may be irritating the cat or a diet change may be to blame. It may be a good idea to bring to the vet if their is other symptoms.
No, because they have fur to protect them. Unless it's a fashion outing. Why would you do that unless the cat is missing fur or shedding those are the only reasons that come to mind for making your cat wear a coat.
yes they do. right after they're born they are still kind of wet from being in the mother cats womb, so the fur is slicked down, but once they get cleaned and dry off they are very furry little cuties :)
either the fur on a lion or a coat made of lion skin or fur (not totally sure bout the last one)
The Sphynx cat is a breed of cat which is completely hairless. The lack of coat makes the cat quite warm to the touch. Whiskers and eyebrows may be present, either whole or broken, or may be absent.
Cats, like all land mammals, have hair that covers their entire bodies. The hair (often called fur) is dense and protects the cat from extreme temperatures, attacks from a predator or another cat and keeps dirt from reaching the skin.
A cat does not have feathers, they have a fur coat
A tabby cat is a cat with a coat with striped, spotted, or swirling patterns on its fur. It is thus a type of fur/marking pattern, and not a breed. See related link
A furry coat is a coat with fur or if your talking about coated fur its just fur.
i think your describing a Ticked Tabby coat. Abyssinians have that kind of coat.
Really! How bad is it!
No, as human hair. Cat fur takes time to grow to build up a thicker coat. It takes around 3 to 6 months to grow fur.
Especially during spring, right after winter, cats shed the thick coat of fur that they have grown to keep them warm. As the weather warms up, cats no longer need that thick coat, so they shed. It is also possible for a cat to lose fur due to old age.
There isn't much you can do to prevent a cat ingesting fur while grooming. A cat will lick off any loose hair and skin in order to keep its coat healthy and clean.
