YES!!!!! If you only get one pig then it becomes lonely!!! Don't get a male and a female because they will breed...but two females can become great companions. They might nip at each other a little bit but it's basically like to sister humans. Do Not get two male guinea pigs that are each from a diffrent litter because they would like to fight each other most af the time.
You can put them together during mating season. That's all you can do.

It's generally not recommended to mix guinea pigs of different ages and from different groups, as it can lead to territorial behavior and fighting. Introducing new guinea pigs should be done gradually and under supervision to ensure they get along well. It's best to have separate cages if you want to keep them together.
Because the male and female guinea pig would breed constantly and you would have a major explosion in the population of guinea pigs within a few months. Also, male guinea pigs can be fairly territorial and have sometimes been known to eat the offspring if there isn't enough room in the cage for all of them.

Guinea Pigs are like any other animal, if you put a male and female together they will create little guinea pigs. If you want to keep the father in the cage, pay attention to the mother, she will let you know if she wants her space or if she wants him close.
if a female guinea pig is biting the other one separate them. Then put them back together when the one got bit is ok again!!!
You can put rabbits and guinea pigs together. But I think that's all
It's a good idea to put the two guinea pigs in separate cages so that they can see each other. This is so they can get used to each other and will prevent fighting and stress when they are put together.
They could be put into a cage together. However, if there is a female guinea pig in the cage with them, that's not a good idea. As they get older they tend to get more aggressive.
only if you put them together when there adults if there children and together they wont fight. That has nothing to do with it. Guinea pigs will protect their territory like dogs will. I have two male guinea pigs and they are adults and do not fight what so ever.
Try to put them in a small cage together.
