NO! A healthy dog shouldn't "need" soft food at any stage in life (from infant to senior). If you feel the need to offer softer foods, add a little hot water to his kibble and let it sit on the counter to cool. Mush it up with a fork, and you'll have a relatively soft food to offer. Don't leave it out though... moist food is a haven for bacteria. So once he's finished with it, toss any left overs. Sorry, but I disagree. Some hard foods can be concentrated so I have fed all my dogs mostly hard food, with a good brand of soft food (lots of veggies in it with exception of corn products or filtering organs.) Three of my dogs lived to be 18 - 20 years old and the dogs we have now are healthy and happy.
You should stop feeding your dog puppy food when it reaches about 1 year. A typical puppy will reach adult size when its about 8-12 months.
most puppies eat puppy food at 8 weeks our younger. You can try feeding them puppy food at four weeks and see if they will eat it.
A two-week-old puppy is very little still and may still need formula if not nursing from his or her mother. Check with your vet to see what the best approach to feeding the puppy is. Puppies are normally weaned from their mothers around 6-8 weeks, and after then any high-quality puppy chow is fine--follow the feeding guidelines on the packaging for quantity.

You should consult a vet. If the mother isn't feeding the puppy she could be rejecting it from the rest of the litter . Most runts get the neglected end of mom,or they get pushed away from the teet by the pther puppies. But its a time to contact a vet and get the puppy nursing . A vet will advise you on a feeding schedule as well as what to feed the puppy.

Rice is now found in many of the canned pet foods. Rice is a digestible food for a dog and there should be no reason why it couldn't be mixed with puppy chow.
That depends. What are you feeding him/her? If you are giving him puppy food he should be eating. If he isn't, take him to the vet.
As soon as you find out your dog is pregnant, you should start feeding her puppy food, because it helps the puppies inside her develop properly and come out healthy. And you should continue to feed her puppy food after she has the puppies, because it gives her millk the vitamins that the puppies need. Keep feeding her the puppy food until she is no longer nursing the puppies.
NO they will not get the nutrients needed. Your dog will quickly become anemic and malnourished. young dogs need lots of iron. I suggest you go to your vet and ask what you should be feeding the dog.

we can take care puppies by taking care of them . Keep the puppy warm, if it is a really young puppy you should try feeding it puppy milk through a bottle. House the puppy in a dog bed, away from draughts and keep fresh food and water nearby.
