A one day-four weeks old kitten needs to be fed (i am assuming it has been orphaned) with a baby bottle for kittens. Usually a 60ml bottle, with a nipple on the top. You either need to go buy some kitten milk formula and follow the directions or use the following recipe:
-1 can P.E.T. milk (evaporated milk with a cow picture)
-1 can water (fill the evaporated milk can with water)
-1 egg yolk (make sure it is just the yolk!)
-2 drops of Karo light corn syrup (the sugar is good for them)
mix it together and then put it in the bottle and warm up the bottle to match the kitten's body temperature. Test it on your hand and then hold the kitten upright and hold its head up and place the nipple into its mouth. Be sure to give it a break every now and then so it will not choke. The recipe I gave will stay good for 48 hours in the fridge. Just be sure to warm it back up later.
And remember you have to help it pass wastes.

no,but really a kitten should start eating from cat food is when the mother
Not really. The mother cat will usually eat the kitten placentas and will, as a result, get back a small amount of the protein she has expended in creating the kittens. But there is nothing special about the placentas, and depriving the mother cat of them will not hurt her.
Cat = kat, or if it is a female one: Poes Kitten = kitten

Aspirin and any food, medicine, or eating or drinking material for humans, dogs, or any animal besides a cat. Feed it water, healthy kitten or cat food or let its mom take care of them.

11 ouces per day?
Just meow, they'll catch on..
No, but a mom cat could ignore and not feed a kitten she thinks won't survive. However, you shouldn't handle kittens too much because they need time with mommy.
Cats are not pack animals, they only tolerate each other in our homes because we feed them. You older cat sees the kitten as invading it territory.
