a great dog would be a papillon. it is very small, rated number 8 in the smartest dog ever. It is rated number 3 in nicest to children. And its rated number 5 in nicest to pets. it is the easiest dog to train i have ever had.

Or if you are looking for something smaller choose a chuwawa A golden retreiver or a lab , britneys ar good too! It depends if you want a playful dog retrievers labs and britneys are vey playful and nice too.if you want a dog that is not playful is a minichure pincher. min pins will let you dress them up

∙ 15y agoA Golden Retriever is the BEST family dog you will find. The Labrador is a very close second. The Golden Retriever is one of the more gentle dogs you will ever find. It is a large dog so you have to make sure you have a very large fenced in yard or live where the dog can run free. Every dog needs lots of exercise.

Animals are like children they have to be taught what is proper behavior is in your household. Animals are what you make of them if you raise them with love, caring and proper but not excessive discipline and reinforcing good behavior with rewards they will reward you as not only good pets but good citizens too.
