THE GREAT BARRIER REEF I AM NOT LYING LOOK IT UP ON IGOOGLE AND TYPE IN
What is the largest living thing in the world AND IT WILL SAY LARGEST ORGANSIMS WIKIPEDIA AND IT WILL TELL YOU A LOT MORE ABOUT THE GREAT BARRIER REEF.
This question is actually debatable. The blue wale is undoubtedly the largest single organism on the planet. However, the tree known as the Aspen reproduces by producing offshoots from its roots and generating clones of itself. These clones are actually still attached to the parent tree and are still considered the same organism. Entire aspen groves can consist of just one individual even though many "trees" are present. Because the total biomass of these collective individuals is so massive the aspen is the largest living thing. A grove in Utah named Pando covers 106 acres and 6,000 tons. Pando is considered to be the largest living thing.
It is accepted as the Great Barrier Coral Reef. The largest animal is the blue whale.
An animal is a living thing.
There is no "oldest non-living thing" unless you consider a virus to be non-living, and their evolution cannot be reliably determined. The oldest living things are animals such as tortoises, lobsters, clams and mussels. Colonies of organisms such as funguses, sponges, coral, and aspen trees live a long time because they create or clone new individuals. (see the related questions)
If it was a living thing when you use your pencil it would cry and scream that you are hurting it. I can’t imagine what it would do in a pencil sharpener as a living thing.
There is no living animals weight up to 250 Ton. Blue whale maximum weight known to man is under 200 Ton. So that must fall into the category of the living tree. World largest tree "General Sherman" is weight approximately 6,000 Ton.
Saltwater crocodiles can be over 6.3 metres (21ft) and that's the longest size scientists have found.

The world's largest living organism is the Great Barrier Reef. It is the world's largest coral reef, stretching over 2,000 km. It is a collection of many organisms, altogether forming one big superorganism. So, therefore the Great Barrier Reef is the world's largest living thing.
The largest living thing we know of is a plant- the giant California Redwood trees.
The largest living thing ever discovered is the fungus Armillaria ostoyae. The largest living specimen is located underground at Malheur National Forest in Oregon, and covers 2200 acres.
blue whales are the largest in the world.! (:
The blue whale is the largest living thing, but the biggest tree is probably either the redwood tree or the great sequoia.
The Siberian tiger is the world's largest, closely followed by the Bengal.

The Great Barrier Reef is the world's largest living organism.
Giant Sequoias are the largest living thing on earth, among the tallest, and are the largest in width. They are the fastest growing trees in the world. Their bark is as much as four feet thick.
The General Sherman is the largest tree in the world.
The world's largest living thing, the Pando aspen tree colony, is measured by its weight and size. Scientists use techniques like aerial surveys, DNA analysis, and ground-based measurements to estimate the extent of the interconnected root system that connects thousands of individual trees.
