The term "bareback" refers to horseback riding. When one goes bareback it means that one is riding the horse without the use of a saddle and on the bare back of the horse.
The sport of riding and shooting is called, very simply, competitive shooting. It involved cones and balloons and guns that fire blanks. It is a timed competition based on how fast you go as well as accuracy. Some hunters may consider riding and hunting which involves shooting off the back of a horse as well, a "sport".
Breeches are fitted trousers that end just below the knee, while jodhpurs are longer trousers that extend down to the ankle. Jodhpurs also typically have a stirrup strap that goes under the foot to prevent the fabric from riding up. Both are traditionally worn for horseback riding.
Definitely too heavy!!!you have t be less than 200 lbs. to re a horse or else you'll break its backyu have tolse alot of weight and unless you are 7 feet yo are obese anyway so go to the gym- salinas(Besides disparaging this person for their weight you did not answer correctly. And really without your comment I'm sure they did not realize how heavy they are)A: One should weigh no more than 20% of the horse to ride. Less is better, e.g. jockeys. So your particular horse should be nearing 2000 lbs. If you have a large horse available, go for it but be extra careful to take it easy as you know you'll fall harder at that weight. I am 310 and am currently investigating a place to take my kid for a ride - she's been begging for years and I can't put it off any longer.....have fun!
People think horseback riding isn't a sport because they think the horse does all the work. You do a lot of work too.It isn't as easy as people say it is but it is really fun. Unless you don't like horses. People think it isn't a sport because they are inferier and unable to grasp the concept that us riders do do something up on the horse. Horses can't do this by-themselves, it does take a lot of mussel to do this. I'd like to see you try. I'm positive you can't if you don't already ride. Its hard stuff we do, try to do a leg yield or a sholder in, bet you cant, or even get your horse into a nice collected canter, without hurting his mouth. Or even sit a buck or not fall of when you horse spooks and rears many times. Try it sometime and you'll see, but not one of those places were you go dowm a mountain side, accual riding. TRY AND SEE!!!
i think walmart is a great place to go horseback riding
