The Achilles tendon .
A pig's heel is suspended near the top third of their hind legs. They are the bony protrusions on the back of the hind legs that "bow" outward.
Leg muscle means probably the calf muscle, you want to say. Calf muscle is formed by two muscles. They are gastrocnemius muscle and soleus muscle. They have a common tendon. That is tendo calcaneus. Calf muscle move do to stimulation of the nerve supplied to them, that is a tibial nerve. Tibial nerve is a branch of sciatic nerve.
Polo Wraps- A long cotton or fleece wrap that wraps around the horses leg. comes in a variety of colors and protects the back of the horses leg and helps prevent rubbing. Medicine/vet Wraps- Just as they are, wraps that contain medicine. these can be put in the freezer, heated, injected with herbs, etc. to make a horses aches go away or help them feel better. Tendon Wraps/Boots- Help protect the tendons of the horse and helps protect other areas of the leg. Applied with Velcro or buckles. I would recommend tendon boots over polos. they protect better and look better and tidier in my opinion! :D Hope this helps!
It's where a tendon in the horses hock tightens ( pulling the leg up involuntary). It's not painful for the horse it's just complicated and can cause the horse to trip more easily. It's mostly caused from horses eating a lump some of dandelions. It is curable by exercising the horse by walking/ jogging up and down hills to really stretch that leg out. Or a horse can go through surgery to have that tendon removed.
The rear leg of a pig is called a ham.
More commonly known as an Achilles tendon rupture, it is the tearing / rupturing of the Achilles' tendon that runs down the back of the leg into the heel. It is so named for the Greek Warrior Achilles, who was crippled by an arrow into that tendon in his heel. Achilles died in the Trojan War.
It is the thickest and strongest tendon in the body, back of the leg, from the heel to the calf
A late legend has Achilles' goddess-mother dipping him in the River Styx to make him invulnerable, but holding him by the heel, didn't immerse that part. Crafty Paris shot him in the heel with an arrow, and so killed him. The word Achilles heel is used as an expression for someone's vulnerability. The tendon attaching the calf muscle to the heel is now called the Achilles tendon.

The gastrocnemius muscle is between the back of your knee and your heel.
Tendon
== == The plantaris has a short muscle belly, but the longest tendon in the body. Its belly lies at an oblique angle along the popliteal space of the posterior knee between the gastrocnemius heads; its tendon extends down the length of the leg and attaches to the calcaneus. It arises from the Lateral condyle of the femur and inserts at the calcaneus.
The heel is the part of the foot at the very back, opposite your toes. The achille's tendon is the name of the muscle at the back of the foot. The ankle is the joint that connects the leg to the foot at the back of the foot. Hope this helped.
